Social response of a socio-educational nature, developed in an establishment, aimed at welcoming children up to 36 months of age, during the daily period away from their family environment, providing them with the continuity of care provided by the family and the conditions appropriate to their global development.

Children up to 3 years of age, whose families preferably reside in the intervention area of Misericórdia de Lisboa, are admitted according to the following criteria:

• Children in situations of risk or danger, signaled by the services of Santa Casa, by the Commission for the Protection of Children and Youth or by the Court;
• Children with special educational needs;
• Household in a situation of socioeconomic precariousness and/or unavailability to ensure the care of children during the opening hours of the establishments.

FORM

A family nursery babysitter is a person who nurses, at your home and upon payment, children up to 3 years of age or until they reach the age of entry into pre-school education establishments, during the period of work or family off-side.

Social response of family support, which provides assistance and individual care services to children aged between 3 months and 12 years, in the family’s home, for a period of time corresponding to the specific needs of each one of them.

Social babysitting and access to babysitting activities is available at the Dr. José Domingos Barreiro Child Reception Center (CAI) (tel. +351 218 618 651).

Social response of a socio-educational nature, developed in an establishment, which aims to promote the global development of children aged between 3 years old and the age of entry into basic education, through educational activities, the entire process being developed in cooperation with the family.
