Youth Rentals

Misericórdia de Lisboa aims at creating conditions for young people to have access to renting fractions at more affordable prices, thus contributing to countering the trend towards population ageing in urban centres and enabling young people who work or study in the municipality of Lisbon to also reside live there.

Access to units is made through a prior application, being the procedure foreseen in the Youth Lease Procedures Manual. This manual defines the general criteria for young people’s access to renting fractions that are owned by the institution, namely age, employment and/or academic status, as well as the contractual conditions of the lease, the discount to be applied on the rent and term of duration of the contract.
