Oral Health in Lisbon
Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Lisboa (SCML) provides the first pediatric dental service in the capital, reinforcing its complementary role to the National Health Service. The purpose is to help improve the levels of oral health in the community where it operates, working with young people to give them a better oral health.

HOW DOES IT WORK
SOL‘s services can be used by any user aged between 0 and 17 years and 365 days, who lives or attends an educational establishment in the municipality of Lisbon, whatever their social and/or economic status.
In the case of students in educational establishments in the municipality of Lisbon, in addition to the citizen card, a declaration of enrolment must be presented.
For students in educational establishments in the municipality of Lisbon, in addition to the citizen card, a registration statement must be presented.
The use of services and treatments is exempt from any payment, except for treatments and interventions in orthodontics. However, beneficiaries of Family Allowance are totally exempt from payment in any act, treatment and intervention at SOL.
